Originally released for Hallo Excentrico back in 2006, The WLNT Sessions was actually recorded in 2006 by Andy N and Tony in their last full length release together recorded just after the last session for Distance IV and prior to work starting on the Black and White albums in 2007.

The WLNT Sessions were done upon request from somebody I have forgot over time where we got asked would we like to submit a few tracks over to a project called World’s Longest Noise Track which was going to do a track which would be the world’s longest noise track which could be loads of artists getting together with all kinds of long tracks.

Whoever I spoke to about this asked us could we do something dark noise rather than the ambient rain storm and bass playing from the first release and I remember both me and Tony gathering from all kinds of sources a collage of sound which the pair mixed together distorting it like hell really.

The 2021 reissue contains a boost in the recordings and while not editing the tracks down in any form brings these long hours of improvisation into a different zone from the way they were when they were recorded in 2007.
