Memories in Sound is a unreleased project from 2012 when I was working with my live band A Means to an End and also my work with Unknown on Audio Poesis when I was given a series of photographs by my now ex who set me a challenge to write some ambient / noise soundscapes to tell the story.

I think she expected me to do the pieces in a couple of days. It took 18 months of returning to a style I hadn’t done in a few years by that stage, Sleeplessness and Seven Ages who it became apparent during the recording of this album I was channelling both of these old acts in a way I hadn’t done before often in the same track.

and perhaps will never do again sadly.
