Sleeplessness with bad computer programmes was a lesser known noise project off mine simply called Sleeplessness.

This first album was originally recorded all the way inbetween 2000 to 2003 and done when to put it nicely when I was simply not sleeping that well owning to work pressures and I reacted against it by listening to the noiser elements of Aphex Twin, a lot of Kevin The Bug Martin’s heavier work in God, The Bug, Ice etc and Sonic Boom’s E.A.R. and the noise and extreme music that came from swamping film sample websites and grabbing samples and pounding all kinds of heavy noise, break beats and anything I could off it to make it sound as heavy as possible.

I remember sending a CDR off this down to my buddy Keith Hicc who I did D.I.H with and I remember point blank him saying what I am trying to do, blow his ears out?

So..

For it’s first release in 2021, I’ve gone back and calmed one or two little bits but most of it simply involved mastering the tracks and quieting them a little.
