Previously only known through a few remixes, Cold Harbor Support
is a rare and almost forgotten project compiled between 2006 and 2012.

The roots to this project date back to a visit to Brighton in the summer of 2006 where on a trip around the lanes of Brighton I purchased a tiny Thumb Piano commonly known as a Hokema Sansula Kalimba.

When I purchased this, the plan was to use this a live instrument to be played and recorded along sessions with the second full length DIH album ‘Suicide (I meant forever)’,some jamming with the instrument it became apparent this was going to be a separate project altogether and I decided to approach this akin to Distance as walls of sound
with the only sound in the mix this tiny little Piano comprosed and mixed with all kinds of VSTs to build it into a orchestra of sound over repeated mixes.

This first album, (The second will follow later which is quite different) recorded between 2006 to 2009 (With overdubs in 2021) was composed over hours and hours of jamming and remixing and was originally designed for me to pick out the best of the remixed versions
for a release on Hicc in 2010 which never happened.

In 2021, compiling this for release it became apparent to present all of the surviving mixes for the listener to listen to of each piece and including the original to show how my train of thought worked for these pieces over the three year period this was composed and mixed.
