Cyprus Memories was the last album released by Distance released in 2009 originally on Halo Extrenico.

Cyprus Memories was created over a 6 month period over the end of 2008 reflecting the Author’s journey to Cyprus some months before and was a major progression in the band’s sound which still maintaining the distorted, experimental, fragment key now started to bring into world like elements mostly from Cyprus itself (some recorded while there) to give it a very other world feel and then completely forgot about for some time and was released after the sessions of Voices in the Mix / Words without music EPs.

For its 2021 re-release, Andy N has revisted the original recordings (still available on Halo Extrenico on archive.org - www.archive.org/details/hallo-excentrico) and re-mastered them in his studio to give them a more cleaner and clearer sound adding the odd extra layer to bring it right up to date.

An extra piece, a different take on the 1st piece is also included, recorded at the same time and discovered just after the original album was released.

This album is dedicated to my friend Evi.
